With nearly three decades of experience as a CPA, Lagunas brings a wealth of expertise in financial accounting, auditing, SEC reporting, operational accounting, and internal audit. His career began in the internal audit department of a financial institution in Oklahoma City, followed by a 14-year tenure in public accounting. This included auditing privately owned financial institutions and manufacturing companies, as well as multiple Fortune 500 companies in the energy industry with Ernst & Young. In 2008, Sean joined Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, serving in various roles within the Finance organization. Most recently, he was the Chief Accounting Officer for PennLNG. Sean holds a BS in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and Oklahoma.

Laudenslager serves as a Senior Petroleum Engineer for FRM, where he is paramount to deal evaluations, daily operations, forecasting development activity, and managing the reserve databases across all FRM managed companies. Prior to joining FRM, Alex spent eight years at Oasis Petroleum, where he held multiple roles with increasing responsibility. His experience spans from field engineering to reservoir engineering, planning, and business development. During his time in the Business Development group, Alex oversaw $9B of acquisitions and divestitures. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and a Masters in Engineering & Technology Management from the Colorado School of Mines.

Combining her experience on the buy side with a background in reservoir engineering, Moritz oversees financial modeling, strategic planning, and risk management of the FRM companies as well as investor relations for Nova Lux Royalties. Before joining FRM, Moritz was an investment analyst at SailingStone Capital Partners where she was one of four investment team members managing a concentrated long-only portfolio with up to $5 billion AUM. Moritz’s focus was on identifying undervalued companies in the energy space. Moritz began her career at Apache Corporation where she held a variety of engineering roles, working both onshore and offshore assets. The experience she gained in her early years allowed her to transition into the corporate planning group, where her passion for finance was first sparked. Moritz holds a BS in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Davis joined the team in September 2020, bringing with him two decades of experience in land transactions, with a decade specifically dedicated to oil, gas, and minerals. Born and raised in Wyoming, Justin’s professional journey began in title and escrow for residential and commercial properties. Later, his tenure with an abstract company in Colorado’s DJ Basin marked his first experience with land and mineral rights transactions. After a stint in Southern California with that same Company, Davis returned to Wyoming, serving as Office Manager for Powell Title & Escrow for six years. In 2010, Justin joined Western Land Services, working on oil and gas development projects primarily in the Bakken and Powder River Basin. As Land Manager at WLS, Davis led large teams, providing land services across the Rockies. His diverse career path has allowed him to develop a comprehensive skill set that encompasses transactions for private, public, and Native American land from various perspectives.

Hollon, a graduate of Texas A&M with a B.S. in Geology, began his career mudlogging in the Gulf Coast for Stratagraph. After completing his M.S. from Colorado School of Mines in 2014, Hollon worked for several companies including Bill Barrett Corporation and Wold Energy Partners. He joined FRM as a geologist in 2021.
